Brands

At the time of this writing, the Brands is still a little immature of a feature, but is intended to control some wording as it pertains to email messages and notifications that are sent to users via the app. Currently there is only one "Brand" configured by default, but this branding can serve as a foundation for White-labeling versions of the application. Here is a screenshot of the main Brands screen:

Clicking the Edit option on the Default brand shows this form.

Description of the fields:

• Name - Friendly name for the brand.
• Logo File - Image to be included in emails - Needs to currently be placed in the assets
• Branded Email Body Template - The HTML Template that will be used to wrap the body of email messages that come from the app.
• Website - Your company's website.
• Support Contact Info - The email address that is used to send support requests.
• Default Signature - The sign-off used in customer-facing emails.

Tokens are currently hardcoded into the system. There may be plans to make the Tokens dynamic, but currently they are hardcoded and processed in the MailMergeHelper.cs file in the API's Code project.

Explanation of tokens that are applicable to the template:

• [LogoHtml] - The Logo Image File that will be Base64 encoded into the message HTML
• [EmailBodyHtml] - The HTML that will be injected into the body of the message
• [CompanyName] - The name of the company
• [TheYear] - The current year
